  • The knot count in finer rugs can easily reach 700 knots per square inch. Therefore fine rug repairs require great skill and patience. We are able to perform any type of repair to these finer rugs

How We Adapt Our Process To More Delicate Types Of Natural Wool & Silk Rug

We clean any type of natural wool or silk rug including Tibetan, Chinese, Anatolian and Moroccan to name a few. We use our knowledge and experience to adapt our cleaning to every rug we wash.

Some pieces we clean have been in the owner's family for generations and need to be processed more delicately due to worn pile. In these cases we will implement extra safety precautions when dusting the rug such as using less pressure if air dusting or using a safety gauze when carrying out the portable beating process. The immersion wash may be carried out with soft hand brushes rather than with mechanical rotary brushes. Or the rug rinsing process may be carried out by extraction where the suction can be controlled as the g-force created by centrifuge rinsing may be too high.
